What is tibetan silver?
Tibetan silver is a mixture of metals including zinc and copper with a very small amount of silver. All our Tibetan silver products comply with the EU Nickel Directive.
What are your sterling silver products made from?
All of our sterling silver products are 925 sterling silver. This means they are 92.5% pure silver, along with 7.5% of other metals.
Are all of your gemstones natural?
All our gemstones are made from natural materials and so there will be natural flaws, imperfections and inclusions as well as natural variations in cut and colour. Some stones may have been treated or dyed. All strings of beads are supplied on temporary strings.
What is gold plated/platinum plated/silver plated
Gold, platinum and silver plated products have a base metal that has been plated with gold, platinum or sterling silver. All our plated products comply with the EU Nickel Directive.
Do you have a paper catalogue?
No sorry, we do not produce a paper catalogue as our stock is changing constantly.
Do your prices include VAT?
The price you see is the price you pay as VAT is not charged on our products.
I am allergic to nickel, will I be ok to use your products?
All our products comply with EU regulations. However, if you have any serious concerns about any metal products the advice would be to avoid using them.
Are your products suitable for use in children's jewellery?
Due to small parts causing a possible choking hazard none of our products should be used in children's jewellery.
How do I care for my jewellery?
The appearance of any of our products depends on how the pieces are looked after. As with all pearls, gemstones and metal components care must be taken when wearing them, the advice is to avoid contact with perfume, cosmetics, sunscreen lotion and hair spray etc so as not to damage or tarnish them. It is best to put your jewellery on at least 30 minutes after applying any personal care products.
Do you offer wholesale discounts?
We do not have wholesale discount as our prices are as low as possible to begin with. We do throughout the year, however, have sales and discount offers. Sign up to our newsletter to keep informed of such promotions.
Do you have a retail shop, can I visit your premises?
We are an online retailer only. Regretfully we are unable to accept visitors onto our premises as our insurance does not provide cover for this.
