Dragonfly Sparkle Necklace Dragonfly Sparkle Necklace
This necklace features a modern dragonfly charm on hand wrapped links and faux suede in soft pastel shades.

MATERIALS
• 2 lengths of 20cm faux suede cord
• 60cm 0.4mm silver plated wire
• 4 5mm jump rings
• 26 crystal glass 3mm bicone beads
• 1 crystal glass 4mm bicone bead
• 3 25mm headpins
• 17 seed freshwater pearls
• 1 16mm ring
• 6 14mm rings
• 1 dragonfly charm
• 1 toggle clasp
• 4 cord ends
• 7 8mm jump rings

HOW TO
• Begin by taking the largest of the silver plated rings and approximately 20cm of wire. Wrap the end of the wire onto the ring tightly three or four times before stringing on a pearl ensuring that it sits on the outside of the ring and making another two wraps around the ring. String on another pearl, make two wraps and continue in this way until you fill the ring.. When you reach the end of the ring, make another two or three wraps to finish.
• Use the same technique to wrap the pink crystals onto two of the smaller silver plated rings.
• Slide one pearl, one pink crystal and one gold crystal onto headpins and make wrapped loops. Take an 8mm jump ring and slide these three charms on along with the dragonfly charm before connecting to the pearl wrapped ring made in the first step.
• The next step is to connect everything together. Take the pearl wrapped ring and connect one of the plain silver rings with an 8mm jump ring, connect the pink crystal ring to this with another jump ring and finally another plain ring to this. Mirror this by connecting the same again to the pearl wrapped ring.
• Cut the faux suede cord to length if necessary and attach all four cord ends. Attach one half of the toggle clasp to each section of cord using the small jump rings.
• Complete the necklace by connecting the central section to the remaining cord ends using another two small jump rings.

TIPS
• Make a matching bracelet by making up the central section and adding on another two pink crystal links before attaching the toggle with two 8mm jump rings.
• The same technique used for wiring beads onto the links could be used for hoop earrings.
